Mid season strategy

So heres my team right now:

B: Hodge, Goddard, Enright, Malceski, Waters, Maguire, Hargrave (Silvagni, Hunt)

C: Bartel, Barlow Hayes, Selwood, Gibbs, Martin (Howlett, Stevenson)

R: Kruezer, Tippett (Warnock, Trengove)

F: O'Keefe, Stevie J, J Brown, Higgins, Rioli, Franklin, P.Davis (Jaensch, Roberts)

12 trades, 344k in the bank.

So with the cash I can upgrade Martin > Ablett in a few weeks (hopefully gets a couple of even 100s to bring price down a little) and I'm thinking I want Chappy in the forwards, but might just go someone like didak a bit sooner to save on cash. I'm happy with backs right now.

I've stuck with hargrave and tippett since rd 1 and i'm only thinking of trading tippett if injuries go my way in next cpl of weeks. got good bench cover except for forwards, i'm worried about jaensch's job, especially being suspended, being able to get back in, and i can't do anything with roberts cos if i trade him out, he'll play the next week.

So i'm thinking with remaining trades, (in no particular order)

-martin > ablett or would swan/montag/stanton be okay for captain each week
-davis > chappy
-tippet > cox/sandi
-jaensch > (hughes?)
-maybe upgrade hargrave?
-remaining trades (between 4/8) for injuries

may need to down trade a few benchies to make it all work, prob Hunt and depending on anyone being available.

But what does everyone think?

Haha Its gonna take more trades then that to get those guys in Your cash wont go far particularly if you want Ablett and mate you should know by now his price will not go down atleast but shi.t all.

In my opinion you need to get rid of the dead weight. Bite the bullet get rid of Tippett for starters, Hargrave to is a waste of space.

Not sure if GAJ will drop alot in price, if you can't get him I would be looking to get Swan or Montana.

Don't like Chappy because he can get injuries to easy. You would be better to upgrade Tippet to Sandi/Cox pref Sandi then Chappy.

Your teams not to bad, also you may want to wait out on the trades until we hear about J brown injuries.

id do martin to either swan or montagna.. i would not trade davis or hargrave as they both are premiums who have bottomed out, you probably need to get rid of tippet, very frustrating inconsistant player.. but at this stage, martin to swan or montagna for mine..

fair enough. montag is looking good. 100k less than gaj too. Think i can wait a week for that, martin be 45 and montag 125, could save myself a couple of $k. Think I'll go tippett to sandi this week.

Oh and that is phil davis not leon, though they'd be about the same price right now... ;)
