Thoughts on Captain Round 9

Sandilands looks like a good candidate for Rd 9 up against Sydney. Heaps of stoppages and with no Seaby, Mumford. Looks like a gold mine to me.

Between Swan and Montagna once again this week for me. Gonna be tough to split them though.

I'd probably go Montagna as he has scored 144 and 166 in his past to games against WC. Also there is a small chance that Swan could cop Ling's tag, so Montagna for me.

im in a bit of trouble i now have Ablett, Bartel, Swan and Montagna makes captain choice hard everyweek. A problem but a great one to have  ;D

i wouldnt say go ablett every week, depends on who is playing as we saw this week he has off temas and doesnt play well at the gabba. The other premiums all gunned it up montagna,swan and bartel all gunned it up

doesnt play well? he did have 31 touches just that 22 were handballs and i mean he did manage 96. its nothing to scoff at

but the game was actually above his average for the gabba, fro me under 100 for a captain is a fail my first captain under 100 for a long time

if I had Ablett there would be no doubt about who to make captain.

So can't really understand why you wouldn't use him as Captain if you have him....gee - only 1 poor (relatively speaking) game for the whole year, and people are jumping off !!!  Crazy ???

since I don't...have to choose between swann, bartell and montagna.  leaning towards montagna on the wide open spaces of subi...

or you can put him in when you know he isnt a good scorer against brisbane at the gabba and watch as you lose 30+ points over the rest of your midfield.  I did this and im still hurting, not a fan of the gazza instant captain lock
