Who for Swan???

Going to trade Swan in this week, but not 100% who for.  My 3 options are:

McKenzie: $308, 000 BE- 57 Av- 90.00
Trengove: $290, 000 BE- 64 Av- 77.00
Martin: $221, 900 BE- 30 Av- 62.33

They all have more money to make, but leaning towards McKenzie over the other 2. Thoughts?

The only thing I am thinking is that Martin has the lowest BE so will more likely earn the higher amount over the nexxt few weeks.  My midfield will be set when i have upgraded 2 of them, so i guess it depends on which one I keep for cover?

I have the same problem, im going to trade trengrove this week, and one of the others next week.

keeping mckenzie and  trengove for cover seems like a lot of money wasted on the bench

personally i'd be looking at the martins, the jettas..whose max price seems to be around 250K rather than 300K IMO

Trengove is the closest to his peak out of those 3 - so if they were meant to be cash cows now is a good time to cash trengove. I believe martin is capable of a  ton so will hold him.

I think I will go Trengove, and not upgrade McKenzie until he stops scoring or gets injured which saves me a trade in the mids. Thanks for your input/s. Now the decision to upgrade a back or forward this week!?!  ;)

Who are you thinking of upgrading in both positions? Who have you got ATM. These is good value right now. For the backs you have Goddard, duffield, enright, grimes etc. Forwards you have j brown and Stevie j, didak, take your pic

I have over 400K in the bank.

Forwards: upgrading Balla & Gumby (Rocky & Davis on the bench, hanging onto Brennan)
Backs: upgrading prob only Nason (Maguire & Hams on the bench, sticking with Waters & Kennelly for now)

Should be able to make 4 premium upgrades over next 2 weeks which finalise my team...for now, haha.

Is Swan really worth the $250k + Martin? Wouldnt you be better of waiting for Montagna who has a massive b/e and save yourself $50k?

I think Swan is worth it since I don't have Ablett.  The only reason I have lost games is because my opponent has smashed me with Ablett as captain, need an affordable captain to battle Ablett.

I think you should go Martin for Swan.  Swanny is prime for the taking (IMO).  He aint gonna be much lower than now.  Doing the sums, Martin will Prob only increase about $10k if he gets his average.  Trengove about $5k.  Seeing as you have the $400k in the bank, I would use Martin as your trade.

Only problem is, that bank is to be spread over certain positions and i'm ok with martin and howlett left on my bench for cover. It would seem a waste have trengove and mckenzie on the bench considering how much cash they can inject for my trades.
