Is Brown ripe for the picking?

Hey guys, $38k in the bank and 15 trades left. Hoping to beef up my forward line, as you'll see it's a little flimsy.

BACKS:
Goddard, Hodge, H Shaw, Enright, Malceski, Mackie, Hunt (Farmer, Silvagni)

MIDS:
Bartel, J Selwood, Mitchell, Ball, Montagna, Barlow (Martin, Kaylor-Thompson)

RUCKS:
Cox, McIntosh (Warnock, Sullivan)

FORWARDS:
ROK, Gia, Franklin, Balla, Pods, Gumby, Fyfe (Duncan, Hitchcock)

Averaging 2000, and really only care about my league games. Have one coming up this week that should be reasonably easy, but is Brown now ripe for the picking with his BE of 105? I suspect Silvagni will play this week, and will probably move up another $20k or so, but I worry that Browny is due a 140 and will begin to rise again.

What do you think? Downgrade Silvagni to Roberton or Webberley, then upgrade Duncan to J Brown?

ewwww a little flimsy is an understatement :P but the rest of ure team looks set bar hunt. brown is good to pick this week or next i think and next week or the week after u should try get goodes. then maybe in 3 weeks u can hope pav drops a bit and can jump on him obviously the 3 u wanna trade out r balla gumby n fyfe/duncan/hitchcock. If duncan isn't named this week i would prbably trade him out because it seems he could be out for a while but if he is i would trade balla who has a reasonably high b/e this week. although if u  do silvagni/hunt to webberly(i think he probly will have better JS then roberton) then u could do balla to pav this week which is the trade im going to make. Pav is set for a big rise so u might wanna jump on board now and i think Brown's b/e is like 105 so won't rise much this week if he rises at all. Then perhaps next week you could look at going duncan to maybe rohan and upping gumby to brown.

i reckon silvagni wont get many more games and i reckon ur on the right track with the trade to get browny cos he will start firing again soon enough, Goodesy is a 2nd half specialist and is a definite target 4 next week or the week after after his shocker at the cattery

GinoGod

try get pav. clearly best forward this year.
j.brown is being hampered by injury but still can score big at stages but also can get low scores like the past 2 weeks.

Colty

Brown set for another drop this week after playing Geelong.

Chapman probably the best forward, but Pav is clearly second.

Hold off on the Brown trade, he will drop again this week as he's playing the Cats.

He did pull out a lazy 140 against the Cats in Brisbane's win over them last year, but I can't see that happening again.

I might target Pav and trade out Ballantyne, but I worry that leaves me with no forward depth this week. I'll wait for the final teams and see what looks right.

avoid chappy and pav they r part of that regular hamstring crew JB may give u some average scores here or there but he has been very durable in the last couple of seasons + how long is pav gonna keep kicking 5 goals every week??? the purple patch is due to subside

#9
how often is pav out with injury marcz??? over the past 3 years he has only missed 6 games so not very often.. Yeh if i were u with 15 trades left i would be pulling:
this week:
nason to webberly and going balla to Pav
next week:
Duncan to rohan(depending on how he goes this week) and Gumby to Brown
In a fortnight:
Silvagni out for a def on the bubble if there r any reasonable ones and upgrade hunt to goddard or duffy.
That would leave u with 9 trades after 10 rounds but ure team would be pretty much set. of course if u dnt want to waste that many trades u could easily hold off on upgrading hunt  for a while and maybe just wait for fyfe n rohan to go up and then downgrade/upgrade one of them to goodes maybe

mahervelous

I'm waiting for the final teams to be announced, if Hitchcock isn't playing this week I'll be copping a forward donut and I want to win this league game (rivalry round!)

That would rule out a Balla -> Pav upgrade.

I'm thinking instead about upgrading Duncan to Didak this week, and bringing JB in next week. That will leave me with an almost set forward line, and I'll keep an eye on Pav if he starts to drop in price.

Thoughts?

pav-regular hammy crew?? since when? pav is very durable and will play most of the seasons games
chappy usually gets a rid before finals

Chappy35

imagine if chappy plays 22 this year. He will be 2nd highest dt pointer
