Just a bit of advice on the quality of this team, anyone???
B: Hodge, Goddard, Gilbee, C.Cornes, Mundy, Raines, Hill (Petrenko, Broughton)
Mid: Bartell, Judd, Selwood, Gibbs, Rich, Otten (Anthony, Beams)
Ruck: Cox, Gilmore (White, Spencer)
For: Harvey, Pavlich, Deledio,T Cloke, Higgins, Krakouer, Yarran (Walters, M Brown

What;s it like, any thoughts or changes needed

Bo

OUCH. So close.

I wanted to say your team looked awesome, right down to mundy and gilmore, but then i saw travis cloke in the forwardline and i started sobbing like gablett.

I know you're a collingwood supporter, but he's rubbish. SC is about disposal efficiency, which he is bad at.

I know you're one eyed' ness might make that a tough cut, but its what i'd suggest. Replace him with Skippy and pocket the leftover cash for early changes.

Otherwise very nice team GL.

Frank

Thanks Mate, so do you reckon even Mundy and Gilmore are good picks.
Further what do ya think about having 2 rookies in Rich and Otten on the field? Midfield
I may be one eyed but I want to win this Supercoach thing and that means,
T Cloke is out

Frank

I have got rid of Cloke and put in Skipworth and that leaves me $200K left over, thats a lot to carry into R1 dont you think.

Scratchy

hence you can upgrade fringe players
whether it be rich or hill or yarran or someone else
i'd suggest yarran he's still a few weeks away from playing apparently.

Bo

200k is about right at this point in time i think.

Imagine if hill gets injured early, you'll be in huge trouble. Without cash you'd have to make two trades, one down trade to free up some cash, and another one to replace hill.

Cash in hand gives you alot of options early on, allowing you to hop on any bolters, and covers things like early injuries without forcing you to make two trades.

I dont understand the reluctance to keep some cash back for round 1. I used to keep up to 1 million (10%) to make early trades, and that cash tends to last almost the whole season allowing you to upgrade everywhere.

1 million might be slightly overkill, but i'd say 200k should be about minimum. Enough so you could go into malceski etc if hill went down or whatever.

Mundy is fine. Gilmore is risky and slightly aggressive, but i like him as a player and his value should go up without much trouble. Query on whether mcintosh is better in this position, i had the same dillemma but went with mcintosh just on preseason form.

Hope this helps.
