Woohoo rank 5 now :D is this the week to trade out Martin. Because swan, montagna and Goddard could be at there lowest prices for the season. Or hold off in them and get sewell or Boyd in a couple of weeks time :O

Justin Bieber

congratz. And you do a dreamteam blog ::) ;D

Think Boyd or Sewell can score as well as 1 of those 3 for the rest of the season? Boyd probably could but would still go with one of those 3. You have the money to do the swap without double trading?

Sweenfury

Yeah, ive got 592k to spend on any midfielder, which is any player in the comp basically. Sewell was awesome last year but i have my worries this year, and boyd with his hand im not sure how he will score. Swan, Murphy, Montagna, Goddard are the obvious options. Which one out of these players would you go? or is there another option.

I already have Ablett, chapman, Dal santo, Pendles and Pavlich, Okeefe, Higgins in the forward line.

Hayes could be a good cheaper option so you can use the left over cash for another upgrade later on.

Justin Bieber

Would say montagna but thats a biased view ;D.

any of the 3 are good but Swan and Joey would be the guys i'll look at. Swan racks them up and hope he finds targets more often then not. Montagna is now the saints runner for a bit during games since they had recruited peake and lovett to do the running. Should rack up alot of possessions on the wings not to mention his tackling.

Alot of money. Wish i had some :'(

Well what im really worried about is having the 2 midfielders from the same team. I have ablett, chapman but thats different because they both rotate through the forward line and the midfield. What do you guys think? Does it matter that i have 2 premiums from the same team in the midfield?

Justin Bieber

It won't hurt if you have good cover. Alot of people will be doing this (me as i want Dal and Joey in).

Might come back to haunt to later in the year when teams start resting players, but if you have cover, shouldn't be afraid to do this.

Swan, montagna and goddard are very durable and don't usually get rested at years end. maybe 1 game at a max (like last year's saint's fiasco)

You must have been reading my mind cuz i just started a post asking that exact question. I try to avoid it but i'm starting to think its not that big of a deal if the player in question is the rite price.
