After so many years of mediocrity Freemantle have finally put their name up as a reasonable, good and some might even say very good team.

But the Pies are coming over, in form and hungry. The spaces at Subi will suit, we always travel well and this year we even have a ruckman!!!

So you Freo lot, are you genuinely up to it and how will you stop the Mighty Pies?      :o

Mick's keeping a lid on Cruise, probably should do the same, will be tastier that way when we win the flag.

Sandilands will dominate Jolly easily. Pavlich will run rampant as well with no Presti. And with no one tagging Barlow he will get 35+ posessions! Thats how its done Cruiseon. And I don't even support Freo.

Should be a cracker of a game. Game of the round! Both teams are currently in excellent form and high on confidence. At this stage I'll probably be tipping Freo in a close one partly due to home ground advantage.

It is exciting. The beauty is that not only will the winner be on top but they will be a game clear!!!

That is a huge advantage in the middle of May. That said the Pies have a very tough run after Freo.

That said I think the Pies will win. We still have some of our best players down on form including Davis, Pendlebury and to some degree Medhurst. It is great to be winning well with capacity for improvement from important players.

Would you believe it? I'm going to be in Perth mere days after this match, and leave Melbourne mere hours before the Geelong/Collingwood match. Why can't my business travel arrangements suit my football love?! The nerve.

I will be in Melbourne during the grand final, so I really want to get tickets but the only thing available at the moment is the stupid package deals.

In Perth it is live (7:30pm) but i think the game is delayed in melbourne and adelaide and sydney i think they will see it 11:30pm their time.
