Go look in the feedback section. There has been quite a bit of discussion as well as a trial version up during the last bit of the season.

the android cummunity is growing :D

The Android community is larger than the iPhone community. Overtook it about a month ago and is growing faster. Also watch out for Windows Mobile 7 - just became the sole platform for all Nokia phones along with the HTC, Samsung, LG all of who are backing it strongly.

Developed in the right environment making the same app for all 3 isn't too much extra work... in theory.

The Android user base is large in America, but not here yet.

The iPhone app is getting closer. Android will come after that.

It certainly doesn't have the majority in Australia yet, but has greater momentum. Did notice that the Vodafone Cricket app was available for both iPhone and Android this year so the market is developing.

Currently iPhone users are more active in using and purchasing apps so having a majority isn't the only consideration. iPhone is still the first platform chosen for development of most apps which makes sense.
