which out of the 2 players do u think i should trade out to bring in  hargrave??

kennelly or waters?

hargrave is a definite gun defender, who will certainly out score these 2 from now till seasons end.
hes run of poor scores would of been a dream for any teams who didn't pick him at start of season. so the time to jump is now i feel.

people talking him down are likely to be people who he has crippled in the season before now, and everyone else trading him in puts them to a disadvantage. so i reckon ignore them.

current defence is goddard, hodge, enright, kelly, makceski, waters kennelly.

Both Kennelly and Waters are still doing great. Why do you need to trade them out ?

There's no need for that now.

Totally agree with you buzz kill. Toss of a coin but I would prob trade him for waters.. With Sydney likely to do better this season.

neither....wait
Agree, you'd be mad to get rid of Waters!! Kenelly still has some $$$ left in him as well.

thornz23

waters is a potential keeper.. if he can average 80-85 i'll be stoked and kenelley is flourishing in the sydney system right now. i would not trade either. if u have nason or hunt sure its a good trade but not these 2

elephants

yeah i would say DONT TRADE and waters could be a keeper.

doesnt matter if sydney do better or not, doesnt have much affect on DT scores, waters getting 100 scores when WCE get flogged
i wouldnt trade either, thats what maguire, hunt, silvagni or nason are for

cheers guys for your opinions.
motivation behind this is to get the overall ranking a bit higher and have a crack at top 100 at some stage (currrently ranked around 750).

thing is with kennelly, hes playing at scg for half his season where hargrves will be at the etihad which is a bit of a higher scoring ground (dont have any stats or facts to back this up - just my opinion).
and i would rate subi a better scoring ground ahead of scg too, bit more space for waters to rack up the cheap kickouts to the back pockets or the like.
also kennelly has a habit of handballing it a bit, not doing it as much this year compared to previous, but there is a chance he could go back to that again too.

what u guys reckon of those thoughts?

bundyboy

don't have any stats to compare grounds, but recon your thinking is sound.

kenelly done well so far, but eski and mattner doing a similar kind of job (and very well) not sure how much more upside kenelly has got.

if you want to upgrade - agree, kenelly instead of waters.

buzz_kill

cheers bundyboy
and ontop of all this (with breakevens reasonably high for kennelly, and reasonably low for hargrave and waters)

sydney play cats away
and bulldogs are playing the dees.

the more i think about this one, the more i think ill pull the trigger.

wipz

don't trade mate, this is a sideways trade as they are all in the same basket.

thornz23

buzz after liztening to ure reasoning i think maybe it is a good trade. but only if hargrave gets back to where he was last year. its no guarantee but if he does then it will b a great trade. high risk high reward

Carnthedockers

Browny of course it matters if a team does well! Why do you think there are so many cats and saints players in peoples teams?

googs?

Im putting it out there this year has been gold for quality backs!
