is there any way to tell what number a user was registered as

ie; similar to ausie test team. eg Prospector number 1 registered

if not it would probably be too hard to do now with over 3000 members

Don't think there are any. Think you'll have to go through the signed up dates to find who was first, second, etc.

If there are, never seen any.

I don't think it is there and as you say with 12 thousand members would be a big job to do it now. I think I was somewhere in the middle of registered but...

I could do it if I had access to the database, but I highly doubt Monty would let me do that :P

Could write an SQL (prob MYSQL) statement to sort by date registered and then assign an incremental number to it.

I am a fairly recent one with the end of this month marking my 6th month on here as a member.

Make sure you make a thread at the sunny side/jedi side when you get to 6 months. I had a year in Feb I think.

If you click on a user's name on the left you'll see in the URL a number at the end after u=. That is your user number.
