I dont know where all your money had gone but try to downgrade someone like Bowden and use the cash to get another midfield gun off Pendlebury.

Also, drop J westhoff and pick up S higgins

I hate these rate my team threads. Do we all want to end up with the same teams?  If you think Westhoff/Pendles are in for a big year, back them in Gerry.

My advice to you Gerry is how do you want your team to look at the end of the year?  If you don't think a player is going to cut it and you've spent over 300k on them, you might want to either upgrade them to a genuine premium or downgrade to a player who you can trade up at a latter period.

If you are spending over 300k, you want them to be a keeper. No use spending money on mid-priced players unless you think they are going to lift their average to a premium range (a premium range differs for each position - I would suggest minimum you should be looking for is a 80ppg back, 95ppg midfielder, 90 ppg forward and your rucks overall to average 180ppg).

A 'means to an end' Gerry - stick to this and you'll do well.

besides the 60k i dont see how higgins is a better option than westie. 3rd year rule in a team where he will play 22 if fit

higgins is avg 55 and westie is 64. i think i'll stay with westie on that one.

cant let yourself have club favourtism in this game me thinks

Westhoff is a big girl. Higgins has been struck with injuries hence is average from the few games he played last year was well down. This season he'll spend more time in the midfield. Yeah.. Higgins > Westhoff

my reasons reach far beyond 'club favourtism'
