Well I think his injuries occurred in round 6 '08 and '09, but he was named, so I guess this year counts too hehe

It's just because this game always works against you. It's like if you trade out and under performing gun, as soon as he's out of your team he really fires up.

Lol, all these weeks I have been saying to myself, Why oh Why dont I have Ablett. For the first time this year I feel better about it. For my sanity I hope it happens more. Sorry guys.

I think this is why a few people (including myself) overlooked Ablett due to him missing a game here and a game there throughout the season. At the price that you pay for him you don't really want that. When Ablett is out you have to replace him with someone. Say the person you replace him with scores 60, then add that to abletts total score as he replaced his spot and Abletts avg all of a sudden comes down to 119.5. However if you don't have anyone to replace and you cop a 0 then his avg for his spot comes down to 109.5. Sure his price doesnt come down but it can hurt your overall team score for someone who cost's so much.

I can confirm this to be true. In Round 5 2008, Geelong played Sydney. Ablett scored 150 DT points. In Round 6 2008 injured. In Round 5 2009, Geelong played Brisbane. Ablett scored 140 DT points. In Round 6 2009 injured. And we all should be aware that in Round 5 of this year Geelong played Carlton. Ablett scored DT 145 points. Consequently he's been injured again in Round 6.
