Hoping I might have some feedback about my supercoach team.
My second year and probably taking it a little more serious this time. Not too serious but this week has been doing my head in with quite a few bubbles.

Back:  Goddard Malceski, Goodwin, Waters, Kennelly, Maguire, Hunt, Silvagni, Farmer

Mid: Ablett, Barlow, Rischitelli, Dal Santo, S. Hill, Trengrove, Scully, Martin

Ruck: Sandi, Nic Nat, Hille, Trengrove

Forw: ROK, Brown, Higgins, Betts, Goodes, Lockyer, Gumbleton, Hitchcock, Roberts

I have 17 trades left ... After round 2 traded Waite for Malceski and Hall for Brown.  Then Riewodlt for ROK
Oh and 98K in the bank

Got burnt for the first time with extended bench with Lockyer not playing and neither emergs playing.

Was looking at taking a risk of that happening again to trade in Hunt for P. Davis and upgrade S. Hill to Judd then maybe one change next week in the forward ... say Relton for Fyfe

I know I have either Hille or Nic Nat collecting dust on the bench but them to get me Cox at some stage.

Just looking for a bit of advice as to whether I am on the right track or starting to burn too many trades too early.
Thanks.

Having only used 3 trades so far is pretty good, I have used 4, but have seen teams that have used a lot more. hunt to davis seems to be what everyone is doing this week, but having said that it is a pretty good trade. will you be playing davis on the field or bench? like the hill to judd trade too. i would say hill has made as much money as he can for you so could be a good time to trade.
just out of interest how much are you averaging?

Zygron

Yeah the reason I was thinking these two trades is because Hunt and Hill have pretty much leveled out (on averages alone) and I really want to jump on Judd.  Davis most likely on the field.
Averaging 2139, got 2158 last round with Lockyer on field and no score for him.

Zygron

Probably also should mention my team name "RockStarZ"

I know my average is probably well below average with you Supercoach elites but I am 1st, 2nd and 3rd total ranked in my 3 leagues by 129, 296 and 78 points respectively so winning those is my main goal.  No delusions of Grandeur to expect to compete with the leaders of the pack for the 50K.

About my only goal is to perhaps finish in the top 15,000 by the end of the year (currently 20,800 odd) and maybe get a very lucky week later in the season for that magnificent car.
Was also thinking about Sylvia in the forward maybe for Lockyer still with the Hunt trade and hopefully still have enough next week for the Judd upgrade.  So many thoughts, getting a headache now.

You will crack the 15k (maybe even 10k) if you trade wisely. Not burning too many trades. Trade time is coming up with many rookies starting to peak soon. Anything is possible ranking wise as I moved 75,000 places last year from mid seaon to finish 7k or so.
What trades did you do this round?

Backs and Forwards look fairly solid. Hille is a waste of cash sitting on the pine. Next week (or coming weeks) could pull a double trade with Hille and Nicnat going out for a Premium (i.e Cox or Hmac) and a rookie with some cash to spare.

Mids got those 2 mid pricers. Going to keep them in as keepers or swap them out for fallen premiums? Would rather keep Riska if he keeps performing and trade out hill when he peaks. Lets you be able to get 3 more premium mids come mid season.

P.S Doing alot better than me at the moment ;D. 35k or so.

Was tossing it about all week, but went with what I was thinking all along.  Davis in for Hunt and Judd in for S. Hill
Davis on field and Judd cap with Ablett out.  Don't like having both Trengrove and Scully on field.
Put Nic on the bench, Hille on Field (Don't like my rucks going head to head) Cox is the plan for these two at some stage.
And unless Lockyer or Hitchcock are last minute inclusions I got one big fat 0 in the forward.
So 15 trades left and 145 in the bank with one more trade in the forward next week if it stays as is.  Burnt a bit more than I wanted to a this stage.

Back:  Goddard, Malceski, Goodwin, Waters, Kennelly, Maguire, Silvagni, P. Davis, Farmer

Mid: Ablett, Barlow, Rischitelli, Dal Santo, Judd, Trengrove, Scully, Martin

Ruck: Sandi, Nic Nat, Hille, Trengrove

Forw: Pav, ROK, Brown, Higgins, Betts, Goodes, Gumbleton, Fyfe, Roberts

13 Trades left and 62K

Happy to leave as is for this week, but tossing up who to put on the field this week.
Nic Nat or Hille and which of the midfield Trio to put on. Tren, Scul or Martin?

Was also thinking about trading out Trengove (Melb) for L. Stevenson (WCE) as Tren may have hit his peak and I doubt he is a keeper for the season as Barlow has/is turning out to be. Also there might not be much in the next few weeks in terms of other rookies to pick up for some extra cash.
Other option is to wait for another cheapie to (hopefully) go up by which time Scul or Martin might have levelled out also and can trade out one of those for the cheapie and upgrade Tren to either Swan or Hodge.

Any and all thoughts welcome.

HillHero13

downgrade either nic nat or hille and upgrade maybe stephen hill..
