Palmer could be a good straight swap for someone like Martin or Bastinac. Provided he firers (I think he will),

Um. What if hypothetically, you had Patrick Dangerfield as a MID then you might be able to get him fro Palmer; who is also a MID?

Yes if Danger was in your mids then you could do a swap for Palmer, but I would still be waiting 2 games to see how Palmer goes.  Although Palmer did get 31 touches and 2 goals in his last game for East Freo (in a losing side)

I think Palmer will hit the ground running in his AFL comeback. I'm expecting him to average 80 in Dream Team and because I'm struggling, will probably go with him as long as his breakeven isn't any higher than 80 for his third game. The last of the mid-priced midfield options me thinks because Clinton Young doesn't seem like a keeper.

What do people think of having Palmer as you're 6th midfielder and Barlow on the bench - or the other way around - come seasons' end? Decent emergency to have and when you've already got Barlow, not that hard to engineer either... Here's hoping Palmer plays this weekend.

Does the return of Palmer mean that Barlows scoring will be less, they both play a similar role (in and under)

Possibly, or it could free Barlow up more. Depends who Freo's opposition intend to tag.
