I've run out of patience with McVeigh so will be unloading him this week.  Thinking of 3 options.

1. Downgrading McVeigh to Kaylor-Thompson and upgrading Seaby to Cox (other ruckman is Sandilands)

2. Downgrade Peterson (huge BE, made over $100k so done his job) to Davis and upgrade McVeigh to Hayes, Selwood or Gibbs.

3. Downgrade McVeigh to KT, upgrade Peterson to Didak.

Im favouring the Cox trade at this stage only because i think he'll probably ave close to 100 for the rest of the year. But is it a waste trading out Seaby.  What do you thinks my best option?

Cheers

elephants

mate i am doing

ball to ABLETT THIS WEEK

hille for coxy NEXT WEEK

hunt to davis/white/hams if he is named THIS WEEK

peterson to didak/pav NEXT WEEK

i like the second option.. davis will probly get a lot of games the way he's playing in such a weak adelaide team. and then thats a tough call who to get out of gibbs hayes and selwood. i think hayes and selwood might drop a bit more but gibbs should be on his way back up this week. i think gibbs is the best choise this week

browny_wce

yeh mate would just have to be wary of JKT as he only just got a game this week. otherwise a good trade, dont think coxy will stay at this low price for long

elxam

hams, davis, white ..not too confident with their job security at all but i suppose if you have to do it then do it

hunt and maguire seem to have job security whereas nason, silvagni, farmer, and those other cash cows not as much so keep this in mind

elephants

sorry mate bottom line

number 2 i dont like the job security of JKT he needed mitchell AND renouef to be injured just to crack the squad?!?!?!

elephants

okay thanks elxam

i think nason looks okay as does davis is such piss weak line ups although adelaide do have a lot of injuries but these arent to gun players

The Vibe Squad

Yeah very wary of both JKT and Davis's job security, however with Cox at his lowest price in years i thought it may be a good time to jump on.  so far i've only used 1 trade so have got a few up my sleeve.

Do you think its a better use of trades going with option 1 or 2?
Mcveigh looks to have a tagging role this year and doesnt look like getting close to the 80-85 average i was expecting.

Dont start me on Leon Davis either - but i'll be keeping him although ill be rueing the fact i selected him over numerous other forwards.

elxam

with buddy and sewell coming back peterson's days might be numbered.

like the sliding mid prems, so very tempting.

Don't discount montagna though

elephants

true exlam if i use four eight trades by round 11 is that too many?

elxam

i wouldn't have thought i would get there by rd 11 though

The Vibe Squad

Would love Montagna but he hasnt come down in price that much. Also he's about 60k more than Hayes et.al.  In terms of price Selwoods the pick of the bunch, but in terms of value Hayes is the man i reckon.

elephants

yep hayes for sure if i had the trades martin>hayes all the way

okay what do you mean u wouldnt have got there by rd 11 elxam

thornz23

i dnt no y every1 is counting gibbs out? he has come down a lot already asweel and will be on his way back up now. I's day he's definately up there with hayes

The Vibe Squad

Agreed thornz, def not discounting him.  Had him last year and was thrilled with his performances.  He's capable of massive scores too which is a plus.  Despite losing Volt Saints will still be good this year and Lenny can only improve.  He had a slow start last year (similar to this year) and pounded out 10 100+ scores in a row.  Think he may be more consistent from now on than gibbs
