will sylvia be a keeper. a proven performer for a couple of years now and i can afford to do a straight swap for paul 'i can't believe you're stupid enough to have me in your team' medhurst.
a chappy trade is way down the track and should be able to get johnno brown in a couple of weeks when he is dirt cheap.
other options are pav, goodes, didak or davis.

elxam

i'd go goodes but maybe melb is different this year and silvia will churn it out even more consistently

sledgey7

his other attraction is that he'll be a bit of a unique pick

obrient

I love Sylvia too....I have my eye on DIDAK atm though, he is a gun and will get better

elxam

didak might not be playing in the mid as often this year becuase of ball, sidey, etc ...
also, he's too inconsistent

sledgey7

yeah def gonna be sylvia or goodes if i do it but i can also do a straight swap for chris 'nyar nyar tricked ya into thinking i was gonna get good' masten to brent stanton.
shuey and martin on mid bench
gumby and pods on forward bench
have only used 2 trades so far

sledgey7

don't have swan yet but thinking between martin, treng, shuey and barlow it won't be long until i can get him in. other 3 mids are elite.

elxam

good trades sledgey

sledgey7

tanks elxam but which one do you think?

medders - sylvia
or
masten - stanton

elxam

i'd go medders -> goodes coz i think there's more upside in goodes towards end of season

i can see improvement from masten but not medders this season

sledgey7

i'm not convinced mate. medhursts BE is is 70 and masten 96. masten will def drop and i think medders can at least hold his avg for now.

thornz23

i would say definately masten to stanton. stanton is an absolute dt gun this year. including the 2 pre season games i think his averages would be about 130

how do u not have chappy, brown, pav or goodes in your forward line????

sledgey7

it does sound weird doesn't it. i saw better options with elites in other positions. of course i had reiwoldt but when he went down i brought in rioli for the exttra cash. this was before i was aware of his injury concerns.
i'm still averaging 2000+ it just means a lot of my upgrades will be in the forward line.

browny_wce

okay decent stratergy. whats ur team then mate? if u dont mind
