What are the views on a possible 17 round season for 2011..

Personally i like the idea..  Fair, as each team plays every other team just once, possibility of 2 split rounds which gives the players time to get over injuries, and a longer finals series so we are not losing overall games

With byes every week, seems the only logical way since a few teams will get more than others if we keep it this way. Unless more than 1 team gets a bye every few rounds to make it equal.

Finals should be kept as top 8. Will have less to fight for and would be better to see it be 8 than 10. Don't want byes in the finals for nothing (especially if top 4 don't get a second chance).

Post in AFL section and you'll get serious comments. Here, topics tend to go off rail 3rd or 4th post ;D

I hate the thought of it but it seems to be the best solution. Still think that they should've introduced both teams in two years time.
