With Martin wait till his BE is similar to his average Then pull the trigger.
My point is though if he keeps scoring like he is he may not increase in price enough to warrant culling him because it won't be worth using the trade. It may be better to leave him on the bench if he's playing every week just as a backup.

Martin looks like my first real downgrade too, though I did trade down Hitchcock for Podsi. Downgrading Martin, upgrading Zieb or Danger to Hayes most likely.

Looking at the midfield though, theres not alot of gun rookies left to debut, so the downgrades may have to come a bit earlier.

Look out for Cunningtons scores (even tho he is 140 already and not much cash can be made), and Lewis Stevenson from West Coast. Kyle Hardingham from Essendon could be a smokie towards the end of the year too.

I think Barlow will get back up towards the 100's consistently soon. I mean, he was tagged by Ling and Clint Jones the last two weeks and  his scores suffered - no shower! He has Richmond this week, captain him ;)  For me Barlow is shaping up to be the hanger-onner that will play all 22 for me and save an upgrade. With those two scores in his rotation he should get close to his BE, but in 3 weeks time it will go back to rise, rise, rise. Hopefully at that time I can laugh at anyone who traded that little gun.

Also i'll be upgrading Hunt to Hargrave once either of them plateau.

I am thinking that Martin to Cunnington may be an option after he has played 2 games.  If Martin keeps scoring 60's for the next 2 rounds then he will still go up about about $25k to $220kish.  Downgrade to Cunnington and pocket the $80k

word from nth supporter was he didn't exactly impress too much in the VFL last week

barlow is playing richmond so expect a ton

woofy

barlow captain? could be worthwhile.... is daniel jackson richmonds tagger? cos his out!

elephants

nah not barlow CAPTAIN  but he shouldnt be "culled" yet because he will get big scores vs richmond and probly west coast

I wouldn't cull martin yet or put Barlow as skipper!! Martin could just be that bench player you need to get 50-60 if you need. If injuries keep happening that will dampen culling?? Still 2 weeks from culling time.

bundyboy

really too early to cull...let them grow a little fatter!!

I have the option to use either Jetta or Martin in a donut saver.  Just because of starting prices - Martin will actually be priced a little higher than Jetta come culling time, which means I can upgrade to a prem a bit easier.

Martins going to be first on my chopping block

martin or jetta, tough call
just give martin a few more weeks as he's got better job security

Guys can someone explain to me what BE is?
Thanks

BE is Break even. The score that a player needs to achieve to not drop in price after this round.

And I think the demons Trengrove will possibly be the week after Martin.
