ok im looking to downgrade one of ziebell dangerfield and ballantyne this week to bring in pods as i need the money to make upgrades down the track. i think ill trade one of ziebell or ballantyne as they are worth more. ballantyne has the B/E of 100+ but he is versing richmond so hopefully it wont be too bad. ive used one trade and my forward line and mids are struggling. (i dont have swan or ablett). im thinking ill upgrade ball to swan with the money i make. thoughts?

Flame

OK...I have Ziebell and will look to downgrade him to Pods and upgrade Ball to Ablett. I know some of the punters will say hold to both but it is a move that has merit and could pay off. Ablett is almost outscoring the other 2 on his own and Pods will be Ziebell's price in no time.

So Gava, I have Swan already but either would fit nicely into your mids.

How many trades have you used??

Gava

yeah good plan. ah just the one mate, you?

Flame

Just 1. That is why I'm thinking up this move!!

elxam

danger - more injury prone than the other two

Gava

but hes also of the least value meaning i will struggle to do ball to swan and hunt to hardgraves next week without doing another downgrade trade. and hes not really that injury prone? just the neck thing?

Mish

i think there is more value in ziebell than there is for either ballantyne or danger.

im only saying that because players that play in the midfield week in week out are more likely to get consistant scores.

i was going to trade ballantyne out this week but i`m leaving him in simply because the dockers are playing richmond and it looks like i`m going to need a trade up my sleeve due to boyd and shuey being out and howlett not getting games.

i say trade danger, he isnt going well and neither are adelaide, they wont get much better either will he as the year goes on, his break even for next round is 93 i think wich i doubt he will get against dogs and its at etihad stadium. Another point is hes good scores this year have been due to a couple of lucky last quaters where he has junk timed it up, so he has been lucky thus far. You will also free up about 230k :P

Gava

nah but i wont get enough money cos i want to trade ball to swan with the money i make. then have enough to do hunt to hardgraves the week later. so thats 30k extra for trading ballantyne.. also should i trade in swan and then hardgraves with basically 0k left over, or gibbs and hardgraves with 100k left, giving me the opportunity to upgrade a fwd which i really need to do
