getting back to footy boys, Geelong have definately made the absolute worst trade in history. Back in the 80's while our coach Billy Goggin Who I consider was a GREAT coach, was on holidays overseas, we sacked him and hired Tom Hafey. He was at the club for 3 years, didn't even get us in the finals (after Billy had got the same team into 2 pre-lims) and when he went to Sydney took  Peter Tooey, Craig Bolton, and Diesal Williams with him. We didn't recover for years after that. The whole board should have resigned after that one

Yup and at the same time they traded away Matthew Lloyd and Scott Lucas. Look up Wikipedia for a full list of the stupid trades.  The Trent Croad one would have to be the worst ever though.
