Anyone know the reason why Jordan McMahon is not playing
Was he injured recently or just not getting picked?
I saw his name playing reserves for coburg tigers on the w/e
Anyone reckon he might get a gig soon for Richmond Seniors ?

He's not playing cos he's not good enough. Which is saying something

When most teams have at least one player that dashes from half back
Richmond have only the speed of Brett Deledio that can actually do that role and is Richmonds best ball winner and is needed in the middle

I think McMahon has a similar style of play to the below names

Jarrod Harbrow - Bulldogs
Rhys Shaw - Swans

Obviously he is not as good as these guys but at least will provide a bit of run of half back as they are struggling big time in that area



Foley coming back is a big plus for Richmond Fans also

mcmahon isnt getting a game because he turns the ball over too much and hardwick is experimenting with the young kids to see who can play and who cant. it is better for richmond to see if the kids can play rather than giving the older players a game when you already know what they will produce. in my view, mcmahon will most likely be delisted or traded at the end of the year
