Bunyip, you only need to score more than your opponent and if you opponent doesnt score very much because of a great backline, then that makes the job easier for your forward line

They do say a good defensive team will always win a GF. I don't know if thats true, I DO know that whoever kicks the most goals wins  :)

Having a good back line is an advantage to stop the other team from scoring but you also need good players in all areas to make clearances and to run and carry the ball up to the forward line and then for the forwards to stand up and convert all that hard work.
