i trade pretty early, as i think thats whats needed to get a strong team early, so i trade out my rookies when they still have 20k to go up. its normally round 7 i start culling my cows, duigan is the first planned in round 7 before his bye so i can get in selwood.

round 7 is fine thats not exactly eary its the blokes that trade before prices have even changed we are talking about. I am planning on my first trade being around that time aswell

i dont the same on the stock market :) sell before my stocks peak and take the profits they made me in order to get on a preomium stock :) hahaha...

but in all seriouseness, i usualy start trading at round 7, although i may start at round 5-6 ish this time depending on the GC's players performances and JS, i have 7 players from there so we will see, one of my first trades i'm hoping to do is fraser to sandi after his bye.

Pretty happy with my rookies and Duigan also likely the first to be culled :P. Shouldn't be trading early unless I feel the need after next round (pretty happy so far but hopefully some of the guys improve).

Not trading early all depends on no injuries early of course. I have always had to trade earlier than planned due to an injury or two.

Selwood out today will hurt me as I wasn't on leading up to lockout today :(. Pretty sure I named a sub and probably Liba Jr. but unsure and too lazy to check.
