Another suggestion:

Allow people to pick 3 players in ranking order in 3-2-1 system.  Might make the points and leaderboard interesting :D

9 people voted, I don't they all would choose the same 3 players.  For the sake of it say 10 people nominate this week and 5 have Gary Ablett who wins it.  2 have is as first choice (3 pts), 2 as second choice (2pts) and 1 as third choice (1pt).  Does that make it clearer?

You could even have bonus point or two for first person to guess right.

All only suggestions of course :D
