SCADDICT

The rising star this year will be

1 Hanneberry
2 Rockliff

But we all know Martin would have won it if he was eligible, far more consistent then everyone else

I agree with #1 and #2, but think Hanneberry would've beaten Martin anyway

Not a chance in the world Hanneberry would have beaten Martin imo. Martin has been consistent all year round and had a few stand out performances... Hanneberry has had a few stand out matches but not as consistent as Martin and will never be as good a player as Martin.

Justin Bieber

My top 5 would be:
1. Rocky
2. Stratton
3. Hanneberry
4. Scully
5. Grant

Still think Hannebery had 'no chance in the world'?

Martin has scored 2 SC centuries, and scored under 60 3 times.
Hannebery has scored 6 SC centuries, and scored under 60 5 times.

So, Martin has been more consistent, but Hannebery has actually been a match-winner this year.

It is close! But by no means one-sided.

I think it is a case of Victorian media focusing on Martin more than Sydney

SCADDICT

Not disagreeing with you Ossie , Hanneberry is a star but I think his disposal average has been lifted by some huge games (30+ touches) where as Martin has consistently got 20-25 possessions.

Exactly, I was probably being harsh on Hanneberry but I think Martin would have won by a fair bit still.
