What do people think of the Saints now Riewoldt is injured..... this article argues they will be still quite strong and if Riewoldt gets back fit, they'll be a chance to go all the way.

could the injury be a blessing in disguise?

There back-line is enough to win a lot of games, they'll still make the four. And if Riewoldt's back by finals time, they'll have a real crack at it.

yeah to be a real contender in sept they need roo back tho...

Nick's injury is not a blessing in disguise nick. ST. Kilda would be devastated by the injury. It will cause a total re-vamp of their forward line structure and a new game plan.
They will compensate though. They will still make the top 4. If Nick is MATCH FIT by finals time they have a better chance of making the GF again.

Think it is a blessing in disguise in a sense of it. now they can see who else they have there besides Roo and Kosi (no point counting milne). stanley or mcevoy could provide a pretty good young option there.

Hate to see Roo go down, but at least we now get to see if saints can play without their key player in. if they can win most of their games, we can tell they will not fall apart. shouldn't fall apart with that backline and midfield. both of these could probably win most games for them with a breeze ;D
