still a work in progress.... want to find some room for a big gun midfielder like bartel, corey or ablett to hold the captian duties. I would also like another solid season player back. Ive "star-ed" the ones I would consider my season players who im not looking at trading.

Im happy with my rucks and forwards at this stage but always open for suggestion.

Backs: Ordinary at best. JWS is injury prone. Petterd and Grimes won't both play or score well if they do.
Midfield: Risky with Kerr who's a loose cannon and Haselby coming back from reco. Skipworth will struggle to get a game. Who's Redden?
Rucks: Prefer Cox in your team.
Forwards: Reimers iffy. Better value around than him. Hentshel reco also.

I agree a lot with what pockets has said.
Cox is almost the first guy you'd pick.
Petterd and Grimes too risky in the same backline I think.
You have spent too much money in your forward line and need to downgrade someone so you can get rid of Skippy and upgrade to an ABC.

backs now goddard,houli, mundy, houlihan, dropped mattner, smith,johnson and pettard
mids - now got corey, vanberlo, boak, but dropped kerr, masten and skipworth
still like jolly and hmac
forwards dropped pav, reimers and okeefe, picked up lucas, higgins and yarran

i think it looks more balanced, still like jesse smith and skipworth so might find room somewhere...

why dont you like cox in your team?

notably the best ruckman around and one of a few players who deserve that high price tag (and will maintain it)

you dont want to be 8 games in and saying oh... i wish i had cox. and you dont want to be making trades on your rucks.

I agree with gerry. Trades are precious and few, and you can make a lot more money using them to upgrade cash cows and mids to premiums, rather than upgrading a premium ruck to a better premium ruck. Its a waste of a trade... Unless you know of cheap ruck thats gonna make lots of money, and start rnd 1.
