I am planning to trade Kurt Tippett out because he has disappointed me for the first 3 rounds. I am going to trade him out for either Nic Naitanui or Mark Seaby. With Nic Nat, there is an upside to him. With Cox not in his normal form, Naitanui will fire especially playing in Subiaco in the weekend. As for Seaby, he has an excellent start to his 2010 campaign playing ruck for the Swans. He is currently the leading scorer of the rucks.

So which one: Naitanui, Seaby or don't trade Tippett out.

None. It's a sideways trade. Tippett will get better as the season goes on.
Upgrade your trades otherwise there wasted. LTI's, Upgrades & selling Cash Cows to buy Premiums should be the only trades you make.

Crows are notoriously slow starters for some reason but it's The Fats opinion so the choice is always yours.  ;)

Nic Nat good every 2nd week (subi)
Seaby good start but who knows ?
Stick with your pre season choice - or burn all your trades on hunches early and get smashed at the end

Although i dont have tippett in my side, he is a gun! and his performances will turn around. about a week ago i was thinking about getting rid of cassisi but plenty of you guys jumped on me and said he would turn his poor start around. tippett will do the same!
also im thinking pav or goodes for riewoldt, when you already have brown and although i can afford chapman, i would prefer to wait on him to drop or just look elsewhere.

goodes or pav?

ossie85

Pav would be the one for me, not sure if Goodes is gonna get the big centuries anymore.

And yes, after the Adelaide-Demons game I was ready to trade Tippett out and have his family assasinated and salt the earth of his grave. But now, I'm calmer, and think, maybe, just maybe, I'll have some faith in him, and hope he turns it around. This could be a horrible decision.

ModburyFC

yea i am leaning towards pav after his amazing game last week!

yea well tippett wil be back i believe! it probably doesnt help being a massive crows fan but he will be back, i dont have him but will jump on him when he hits rock bottom. do u have the depth to leave him on ur bench until he recovers??

ossie85

As far as I'm aware Tippett's going to play? I know it's touch and go.

It is actually better if he doesn't play, so if I do decide to trade him, I could trade him a premium falling in price.

djtranny

tipett is poo, i realised my mistake and got rid of him before the price drop. Brought in big browny for him and certainly not regretting it at this stage. Now that his price has dropped though you may as well keep him on the bench if u can, I'm sure he will lift but probably not for a few weeks.

You should change the name of this post to Why trade Tippett to Why pick Tippet in the first place.

grum88

im with you ""ossie85"" Kinda hoping he is out for 1 or 2 so i can jump on guns going down.
Its going to be a last minute decision for me today gonna have to do the sums see hjo much ill save by keeping him and trading him out next week or the week after.

stevemac

totally agree modbury. one look at tippetts 2009 corresponding scores for the same time of year (and crows overall performance for that matter) can see that things can turn around.

tippett is in his third year, can play ruck, can take marks, and can kick bags of goals.

@Modbury

When did he become a gun ?

Tippett is suffering from knee tendonitis, even though it goes through most players of the afl, it is making it hard for him to move, watched him against melbourne and he cant get anywhere near the footy, it causes him to stiffen up and have slight pain.

Davoo

get rid of him because he sucks.
