agreed - Ablett will not be rested because Geelong wouldn't want to finish fifth this year.

having said that if there's a team out there that can win the flag from fifth it's the current Geelong mob.

That's the trouble with recruiting at just the right time. It's a real shame that Hitchcock, Hartlett, Stewart, Chaplin, Carlisle, Moore, Butcher, Banner etc. etc. will be peaking in 2012-3 just before GC and WS dominate the competition.

Good luck with 12 first-choice Geelong players retiring in the same year.
