Anyone know this week's magic number??

i spent some time crunching the numbers and found the magic number for everyone  :P

186700=0.75*105800+0.25*F*100.3

186700=79350+0.25*F*100.3

186700-79350=0.25*F*100.3

107350=0.25*F*100.3

107350/0.25=F*100.3

429400=F*100.3

F=429400/100.3

F=4281.16

Used Michael Barlow's statistics


Checked my results using ROK's statistics from

http://www.fanfooty.com.au/players/profile.php?firstname=Ryan&surname=O%27Keefe

The result i get is 3708.81


checked again using Roo's statistics from

http://www.fanfooty.com.au/players/profile.php?firstname=Nick&surname=Riewoldt

result is 5104.69



So, if we average the three then the result is 4364.89 which puts you within $5000 of their correct price.

if you go

0.75*(players initial price)+0.25*4364.89*(players average score in the last 3 rounds)

you will get their new price accurate to within $5000 of what it should be.



NB: players initial price is their price at the first round when looking at their average score from the previous 3 rounds.
