i am a bit confused with the scoring system.

i thought after 3 rounds a player had an average and he was then worth a coinciding value (e.g. barlow will be averaging 115 there for his price would be 615k as this was lenny hayes price and average)

yet his price has only increased 110k.

so how do price increases work as my understanding is obviously wrong and therefore i dont want to trade my rookies if they will keep going up!

There is a pretty in depth formula to work out the price increase but the idea is that its a gradual increase or decrease so it will take a good 5-8 weeks for a rookies price to go up considerably & vice versa for an out of form premiums price to drop

legend... thanks heaps! look like im hanging onto those rookie mids a tad longer

Players prices are based on every 3 games (NOT ROUND) they play. So if say Mr X plays rounds 1,2 and 3 his price will be reassessed after round three(game played 3). But if Mr X does not play until round 9,14, and 16 then his price is re-evaluated after his next three games hence round 16.

Players are re-evaluated after every three games played no matter what round it is in.

so... round 1 2 and 3 then prices don't go back up until round 6.. saying if they play round 4 and 5

Untrue, after their third game, players are re-evaluated every game using a rolling average from their previous 3 games. So in your example Mr X would be revalued in round 9, 14 & 16

Yes his previous three games of Mr X of 1,2,3 are rolled over into round 9,14 &16. Yes they are re-evaluated each round but nothing changes in their price on the site until that third game. which is round 16

Cool9

I think Pie means if X plays his first 3 rounds in 9, 14 and 16, then first price change occurs in round 16, but of course Tom Scully is spot on, price would change every round played after that based on average of previous three scores. Clumsy thread!

It is just not written very clearly and serves to confuse the situation further IMO. :)
