Lost badly. Meanwhile my rollover plans continue. I signed Ronald Miller to my squad to take the place of Hatton next season who's wage is just getting obscene, especially when while I'm keeping my Senior squad going it's not my top priority, as much as I love Waygood he may be next in the gun...

I just realised that my last 10 of my last 11 50 over matches at home have been sold out, and my last 5 T20 matches have also been sold out. :o Might be time for an upgrade.

There's nothing like getting a compensation payment for a touring member of your youth squad who wasn't even a member of your youth squad until 6 hours before the compensation payments went out  :P

Played fletch's affiliate in a youth friendly today and Bobcat finally performed against them! Before this match he averaged just 11.67 from 3 innings against them, but today he lead the chase brilliantly leading the team to an 8 wicket win and picking up the MOTM with a score of 117 not out from 102 balls. Chased down the target of 215 in 35.1 overs :)

This is the team I will be playing on Wednesday and if I win that game am basically guaranteed promotion to div 1, unless some crazy upsets occur like Bangladesh losing to Scotlands 16 year olds! :o

It's funny cause of the amount of stick we got for taking 16 year olds on tour. A lot of negative comments but not many positive comments after we came third. Well done though to Fletch, Valk and cf for getting Bermuda promotion

Why did you take 16 year olds though cookie? They won't be the right age for a WC season so wouldn't it have been better to take 17 year olds?

We are trying to drum up some interest in our nat scene. Scotland's nat potential has been floundering I discovered when I became involved. Players are weaker than others in that we have to sacrifice a skill to get primary to the desired level :( I don't really think it worked but we have been discussing a lot of things to try and increase interest. All we need is a couple of people to take an interest in Scotland.

We don't even have a community. The people that post in the forums are the same people

Fletch74

TBH that is a silly way to drum up interest... You might get people to pull for you to have their players play at 16yo, but you'll lose those managers who have 19yo's who deserve to be playing!! IMO, that is a terrible decision.

community friendlies always gain a bit of community interest ;)

I wouldn't have a clue who the community is. a lot of managers don't post in the forums especially the Scottish forums
