Billy Goats CC won by 6 wickets

Bowled first and restricted them to 183 on a green/cloudy but could only take 4 wickets even though I was playing 4 seamers, so the conditions were perfect for them ::) Then in reply chased that down in just 30.2 overs! Bobcat (72* from 70) and Davidson (58 from 59) the stars with the bat.

C'mon CF, go and buy some cheap 16yo's and use them to manage your fatigue in SOD and T20. Then you will promote and make it 4 FF'ers in Div 1 :D

Anyway I'm doing alright with fatigue management at the moment, none of my players play all 3 games each week, well apart from my keeper, AR and Bobcat that is :D

My YOD league is very weak compared to my side this season, so I will be able to give my stars a rest from playing too many youth games so I can focus on winning games in SOD and T20.

I played the next best rating side and won easily with a number of stars being rested

I'm not saying rest them all for T20 and SOD, just enough to ensure that you progress into Div 1 YOD. Think of the overall XP improvement you'll get from having them in Div 1.

I've decided to do this for my affiliate. I've got about 18 players now, and some of them are average, but the aim is to get my team up to Div 1 YOD and have the T20 and SOD in Div 4 to maximise XP. I think that's the best you can aim for with a youth farm

Thats my goal too, but the spuds cant promote from div 5 lol.

Ah well just playing my 16/17yo this year as the next best team rates in the 60s so should hopefully double promote the next two seasons

Yeah I know what you mean fletch, and hopefully I can still promote. Just overpaid on a player, but he is a LF so I figure I can sell him for a lot when he is 20! Depending on where his 3.5k spare ratings are he could be reas/reas by the end of the season :)
