Yeah thanks for that. I'll probably adjust to the market through experience. What's the most expensive players people have picked up?
Players generally go up to a million, every so often a guy guys for a over a million. My biggest purchase is around 700k I think.

Regarding your purchase, he's not bad. Acc/Acc is good for his age (Bat/Tech) although he needs to be trained in Fielding. Fielding is one of the more important skills in the game. I'd try find guys who are Rel/Rel and have around reasonable fielding if you can (haven't checked the market). Also, I see you have made more purchases, post them here and open them up  :)
http://www.fromthepavilion.org/player.htm?playerId=944974 I bought this fast bowler as I didn't have any have any fast bowlers, just mediums.
I also paid overs for this guy http://www.fromthepavilion.org/player.htm?playerId=837044 but hopefully he'll pay off in the long run.

JBs-Hawks

Not the worst players by any means good project players.

Haven't bought a senior player in a long time, and don't think I have ever bought an AR, so just want some advice. Is this guy worth 400k?
http://www.fromthepavilion.org/player.htm?playerId=853604
as a long term player yes
I wouldn't pay $400k for that tbh. :-\ The rfs make it feel more like $300k.

^My AR which i got for $244k during EOS. Similar :-\

I saw plenty of spin AR's during EOS that went for below $400k. :-\
My AR - http://www.fromthepavilion.org/player.htm?playerId=857492

I know his Ordinary Experience but he did cost 21k. Cheaper option to both of yours :P

My ARs (Pyke & Verrier) both cost me a mint. Yeah I overpaid get over it. :-[

A good AR will give you your money back tenfold though. 400k is neither here nor there for that guy. He is clearly better than Roach as well PB. :P

By the way do we still do U24 and/or senior FF NT squads? Or just U19?

JBs-Hawks

Yea we do an u23 side but needs to be in your team for a full season.

Won my PCC match quite comfortably, my cap/cap 19yo medium took 5 lol.

JBs-Hawks won by 304 runs
H. Carter 8.4-0-28-2, K. Cunningham 9 (24b)
End of over 37 (1 run) - Ashburn Academy Rejects(140-10). 305 runs required from 13 overs. RR 3.78 RRR 23.46

PowerBug

I know Ax, just that Roach is my most expensive buy ever at $244k. (Not as stingy as Daz, but i don't like spending big)

Both of those are good buys, any left arm bowler automatically gets a bonus price tag so 30k for a lfm is about right.

You also might want to fire some players Ant, you have 20, most you need when starting is 15, and most say 12 is enough, also is the minimum. :) You pay the weekly wages on Monday, so you should fire some of those players you started with by then. :)

Thanks for that, fired a few of my older players who weren't any good.

DazBurg

and my little rebuild continues

not a full blown one just i have 1 batter at 29 1 keeper at 30
and 2 bowlers at 29 to replace

pretty much replaced the bowlers already had a replacement for the batter
struggling for a keeper

anyways didn't need another bowler
but at 65k for a accom/reli project fastie i couldn't pass it up since i never had a straight out fast bowler

JBs-Hawks

Khaleel and Yaseen should slot nicely into your senior side.

Justin Bieber

Just an update for those who were around when to hear about when I pulled Harrison Morgan and have been following him throughout his career. First FanFooty Homegrown Nat if he plays over next season or two?

TheAnt

How often do you guys have the commentator saying replays show it's out/not out but the umpire getting it wrong? I've had 4 or so decisions against me this match..

Fletch74

Quite often

I hate the first form update. My affiliate had 1 increase to cap form and 7 decrease to average... Sucks!!
