Played Spinking today, but to make it fairer I played the team I will have next season since I'll be selling off a lot of my older players. So my team consisted of 1x25 y.o, 2x23 y.o, 2x22 y.o, 2x20 y.o, and 4x19 y.o. Batted first on a slow and was in big trouble when I lost 3 wickets in an over to be 3 for 23, when Sloane fell for 2 a couple overs later I was 4 for 33 and thought the game was all but gone. But then good ol' Jimmy and Imran Gul put together a 188 run partnership before Gul was caught for 79. By the end of my 50 overs I finished at 7 for 259, with Jimmy left not out on 126 :D

In defense we managed to keep it tight and managed to bowl them out in the 49th over for 202, so we won by 57 runs :) Jimmy Wilkinson was man of the match.

I assume Gul won't be your keeper will he? If that's the only purchase you need, squad looks great :)

Thanks for the game CF. Thought I was in with a chance after those early wickets, but class prevailed. :)

Honestly I think he will be for a couple of seasons until Valentine comes out from the youth academy. Although I'll see how much money I have after sales and may purchase a new guy if a cheap option comes along :)

Cookie311993

You could only play Gul for Sod or t20 and use Valentine for youth and one senior format to farm his experience heaps
