got luigi next week for final game

CrowsFan

Congrats on the win cyrus, you play zz next week right?

In my game looked like I was going to lose when they were 3 for 158, needing 26 runs from the last 3 overs on a hard pitch. Maloney bowls the next over and takes 2 for 4, so they now need 22 from 2, so looking like I'll be in with a chance afterall. Rees then bowls his final over and goes for 16 leaving them needing just 6 off the final over. But my man Maloney restricted them to just 3 runs (2 run outs in there too) so that we win by 2 runs :D

8 of his players had wages over $10,000 and all were either rested or revived compared to just my 1 guy, so his players must have awful awful secondaries!!

Cookie311993

His team can't field or shower. That's not gonna help his cause. Well done Cyrus, Daz and cf

Cicjose

At 70-1 I thought I was going to post a good score ..but along came Stam !!! DOH !

Good luck in your last match ...large wad of money coming your way if you win :)
I should stay third anyways unless Cyrus thumps me right?

CrowsFan

Haha zz tell him you are already receiving a large wad of money from cyrus to lose :P

In all seriousness even if you do lose you will remain third, considering the guy in fourth is playing the team in first place who has to make sure he wins to secure promotion ;)

Yeh if i play 3 16 year olds and 1 19 year old and my 2nd AR can he report me? :-\ cos obviously Cyrus will beat me then...

CrowsFan

Only if you send him that message that I told you to say.

If he did actually report you all you would have to say is you knew you were guaranteed third place, you couldn't go up or down so you decided to get some experience in to some of your young prospects :)

chrisuzz

Yeh true, thats the only thing im worried about but i should be okay worst i could get is a warning, well im gonna set the youths in the team now ;)

CrowsFan

Haha you wouldn't even get a warning. I've told Daz I will play my youth team on Friday if he wants me to so he can stay up. Trust me you'd be fine ;)

chrisuzz

yeh true, guess i did the same for valk so he could promote to div2 last season :)

Cyrus

LOL i did it the hard way  ::)

   End of over 18 (8 runs) - Clyde Cougars(126-5). 26 runs required from 2 overs. RR 7.00 RRR 13.00
E. Black 12 (13b), W. McLovin 23 (19b) , J. Moritz 3-0-17-0
18.1   6   Baring to McLovin : Baring has pitched this one up to McLovin who confidently drives this over mid-on. In fact McLovin has really got onto this, into the stands it goes, what a six!
18.2   3   Baring to McLovin : Stands tall, punching off the back foot through the covers.
18.3   W   Baring to Black : [catch] Black looks to drive through the on side and instead spoons the ball back to Baring who accepts it with both hands.
E. Black c & b. B. Baring 12 (14b 0x4 0x6) SR:85.71

18.4   1   Baring to B. Jones : Baring nips it back from off stump, pinning B. Jones to his crease. The bat comes down in the nick of time and McLovin is quick to call for the run.
18.5   4   Baring to McLovin : A well placed French cut results in 4 runs.
18.6   1   Baring to McLovin : Crunched through the point region. It gets to the deep point fieldsman very quickly though and the batsmen can only take one.
   End of over 19 (15 runs) - Clyde Cougars(141-6). 11 runs required from 1 overs. RR 7.42 RRR 11.00
B. Jones 1 (1b), W. McLovin 37 (23b) , B. Baring 4-0-52-1
19.1   .   Moritz to McLovin : [great fielding] Ntalami manages to get a foot down just in time to stop the ball.
19.2   1   Moritz to McLovin : Now that is just plain cheeky. McLovin pushes the ball directly to Ntalami at mid-on and immediately took off, B. Jones aware of McLovin's intentions responds quickly and 1 run is scored.
19.3   3   Moritz to B. Jones : Ah, short and wide, B. Jones has all the time in the world to rock back and carve it behind point.
19.4   2   Moritz to McLovin : A well timed push through the covers adds another two runs to the total. McLovin just leant on that ball, lovely timing.
19.5   3   Moritz to McLovin : That ball was superbly timed through the covers by McLovin. Moritz shakes his head in disgust as the delivery was not as bad as McLovin made it look.
19.6   2   Moritz to B. Jones : A hard chase on the boundary by Khare keeps the scoring to two.
   End of over 20 (11 runs) - Clyde Cougars(152-6) RR 7.60
B. Jones 6 (3b), W. McLovin 43 (27b) , J. Moritz 4-0-28-0
Clyde Cougars won by 4 wickets

chrisuzz
