Oh my the air is getting thin up here :P

I snipe Snowtop again next week. Snowtop beats you the week after. COME FROM THE CLOUDS PROMOTION!  :P

Had an easy time myself. Bowled them out for 147 (The Dutch Treat with 3/33) and knocked it off in 24.1 overs, only bad thing was Smits sniped most of the runs....making the runs battle between Cusack and Wilkinson a lot closer than it needed to be  >:(
Wouldn't HP then walk away with promotion anyway since he is still a game ahead of you? Plus it'll be tough to beat Snowtop since I assume The Dutch Treat is going on tour next week?
By the way Cusack will be the leading run scorer since Wilkinson will be on tour next week and will miss the game ;)

I don't think Sicco is touring, he's not currently in the squad

Touring messages were already sent out on the weekend. Shah is touring :)
Well done for buying a nat nails :P Come talk to us when you grow one :P

Nails

Wasn't a NAT when I bought him ;)

Took like 5 weeks for him to even be put in the squad after I bought him  :'( Both NATs I purchased weren't in the NAT squad when I bought them, I'm just good at harassing NAT managers into taking them on tour  ;D

Well done with wilkinson,cf. Noticed him in the SA touring party

#49563
End of over 11 (maiden) - Chinotto(37-2). 232 runs required from 39 overs. RR 3.36 RRR 5.95
S. Cameron 0 (1b) , M. Henderson 2 (10b) , V. Shah 1-1-0-1

Have not won a SOD this year, but I think this guy rested a couple players and we are CRUISING to victory on a humid/uneven.

http://fromthepavilion.org/commentary.htm?gameId=1754269

End of over 25 (2 runs) - Chinotto(86-5). 183 runs required from 25 overs. RR 3.44 RRR 7.32
S. Watt 7 (14b) , L. Layne 1 (2b) , G. Sherriff 8-1-21-1

My -1.9 NRR will get a huge boost, maybe if I win all the games for the rest of the season I could avoid demotion (unlikely, but a small, small chance)

Pretty much the same thing  ::)

I have Love who had the star for 2 seasons but didn't get a game even though he deserved one, and I bought Mordt when he was 19 and played in the WC  :P

Cookie311993

That's a surprise to me q. Love is a good player and a little shocked he didn't make the Kenyan side.My only thought could be talent, in that he lacks a bowling talent. Most managers are looking for mediums  with bowling talents

TBH, it was ****shower.

Cookie311993

I just looked at him compared to the players I purchased and he has a better wage then most of them and they pretty much all played nats

Off to an extremely crappy start against Shaggy  :-\

End of over 3 (4 runs) - The Matchbox Matadors(11-2) RR 3.67
S. Marsh 3 (4b) , R. Deem 1 (1b) , S. Catterson 2-0-6-1

The two players out are the two players who scored 90's against cyrus yesterday...

PowerBug

End of over 25 (10 runs) - PowerBugCC(166-1). 151 runs required from 25 overs. RR 6.64 RRR 6.04
B. Peden 69 (76b) , W. Wardlaw 85 (70b) , G. Khan 4-0-25-0

I should win this and seal promotion to Div 3. :D One thing i noticed. When i realised that my OBB was finishing with 7 overs at the death, i was spewing, coz despite his talent he always flowers up the end. I think he secured the promotion though:

End of over 39 (6 runs) - Nothing Special(259-4) RR 6.64
M. Burke 87 (83b) , F. Campbell 42 (40b) , A. Merchant 8-0-56-0

39.5 W Oldfield to Healy : [catch] A short rising delivery pitched on the middle and off stump line and angling across. Healy goes for the pull and is beaten for pace.
C. Healy c A. Merchant b. D. Oldfield 0 (1b 0x4 0x6) SR:0.00

39.4 W Oldfield to F. Campbell : A straight ball hits him in line, the finger is slowly raised.
F. Campbell lbw b. D. Oldfield 47 (43b 2x4 1x6) SR:109.30

43.6 W Oldfield to Burke : [catch] Out! Burke has nicked a regulation outswinger from Oldfield to Tonge at first slip.
M. Burke c G. Tonge b. D. Oldfield 105 (98b 9x4 0x6) SR:107.14

47.5 W Oldfield to Otieno : [catch] Oldfield released the ball with a horizontal seam, causing it to leap up and Otieno was unable to keep his shot down. The ball flew straight to Mukund at mid on who holds on to the catch.
A. Otieno c S. Mukund b. D. Oldfield 11 (11b 0x4 1x6) SR:100.00

47.4 W Oldfield to Van Haaren : [catch] An ugly swipe takes the top edge. Oldfield tracks the swirling ball and gleefully accepts the catch.
M. Van Haaren c & b. D. Oldfield 19 (20b 2x4 0x6) SR:95.00

Cheers Dougie. :) D. Oldfield 8.5-0-52-5

Probably one of the weirdest games I've ever played...

SE Melbourne Thunder Dogs v Yorkshire MK >> Match Ratings
Match Ratings

I rested players expecting an easy win but the match wasn't a breeze...

Somehow he made 434/5 on a Hard/Windy with his opening batsmen scoring 209 and 145 respectively. It was our turn to bat and we actually chased it down  :o Needing 22 off the final 3 overs, Peirce and Blaxland led us to the finish line. 29 y.o Blaxland made 173 not out guiding the Thunder Dogs to a great win  :)
