Probably could have got this guy for $60K or less and would have been quite happy to do so. However this idiot came out of nowhere...

:( Not an important match, none in T20 are, i'm not going to relegate so anything else is a bonus.

Saw that. It's flowered though, because some idiot bids 4mil he gets him and ends up w/ him for 60K. I could have bid 65K and got him if it was done properly ::)

PowerBug

So should we now bid stupidly to try and get them for an adjusted price?? :-X

So I lost by 6 wickets last night. Was disappointing after a pretty good start to the match.

Batted first on a flat and posted 3 for 178, with Jimmy Wilkinson top scoring with 53 not out from 38 balls. Then when defending that I had them at 2 for 12 after 3 overs, both wickets being taken by 19 year old fasty Dwight Mahabir. After 12 overs they were 3 for 97, needing 82 to win from the last 8 and looked like I would be in with a shot. But then little 16 year old William Serjeant came in to attack and gave away 21 runs in his first over, 23 in his second and the remaining 15 runs in his third over to gift them the victory with 3 overs to spare. Serjeant finished with figures of 3-0-59-0!!

Don't really care about the loss though since I am still sitting in second place, 2 wins clear of third place, and the worst I could finish up is 4th so will probably get some more experience in to the youngens in the last 3 games :)

Ouch! Unlucky CF. :( Playing my 17yo batsman has cost me two matches in T20, yesterday's game and another early on which i lost by 11 runs. :(

My dis-interested batsmen on a Sunny/Flat:

End of over 23 (4 runs) - PowerBugCC(135-3) RR 5.87
N. Laghari 45 (45b) , C. Michael 37 (48b) , L. Herman 4-0-25-0

A few overs later:

End of over 28 (9 runs) - PowerBugCC(182-3) RR 6.50
N. Laghari 68 (57b) , C. Michael 61 (66b) , F. Williams 6-0-40-1

300 should be enough, i have my best bowlers out there.

CrowsFan

Well I probably would have won the game if I played a senior bowler in the squad instead of him, but needed to rest some players and I really don't mind if I end up finishing 4th in the league. Better to get experience in to him since I don't play him in the youths :)

I'm also playing on a flat pitch tonight against the worst team in the league. Getting Wilkinson to open the batting and hoping I bat first so he can knock out a big score :)

Good luck with your aim of getting to 300. Need to go at 10 an over, which is possible, but if you lose a wicket or too will be tough ;)

Beat ML by 9 Wickets in T20  :) Sitting in 3rd ahead of ML by NRR... Now to just hold my spot in both Senior leagues  :D

No because when the price is adjusted you still have to pay the amount you bid.
The seller just doesn't get all the money. They get the adjusted price.

End of over 35 (8 runs) - PowerBugCC(253-4) RR 7.23
A. Imdika 24 (14b) , C. Michael 96 (88b) , C. French 6-0-43-0

Both 16yo's are batting now, Michael is putting his name forward to play senior games in future, along with playing the rest of the season out.

PowerBug

Well, i go there, a solid final over to cross 300.

End of over 40 (19 runs) - PowerBugCC(311-6) RR 7.78
A. McCabe 23 (7b) , A. Gibbs 11 (5b) , L. Herman 8-0-74-1

4,3,1,4,3,2,6 - Those were the balls McCabe faced.

End up winning the game PB? Can't be bothered checking myself :P

Had an easy win myself :) Batted first on a flat and posted 4 for 360, lost the last 3 wickets in the last 2 overs so the damage was already done. Then restricted them to 6 for 242 to win by 118 runs :)

Man of the Match
3. Rory Sloane - Massive score of 162 from just 110 balls.
2. Jimmy Wilkinson - Scored 142 from 91 balls. Put on a 252 run opening stand with Sloane :)
1. Steve Raymer - 2 for 48 from 8 overs plus a catch (off his own bowling)
