I would argue against that theory Cyrus.

If you have better bowlers than your opposition, play on a Flat or Hard wicket, that way your bowlers have a better chance of dominating. Better batsmen, choose a bowling wicket, one that doesn't suit the opposition obviously...

The only time I would choose a pitch that suits my type of bowlers is for the latter above or if the teams were ranked pretty evenly.
ranked 753 to 793 and out rates PB by 1k in T20 this season, in a T20 i would take the pitch that suits me better

PB should win but i wouldn't have left anything to chance in a T20

PowerBug

As long as i don't go down by 11 runs like i did to him last time i'll be happy. :D

End of over 6 (12 runs) - PowerBugCC(60-1). 121 runs required from 14 overs. RR 10.00 RRR 8.64
G. Tonge 47 (27b) , W. Wardlaw 12 (9b) , F. O'Halloran 1-0-12-0

6.1 W Dekker to Wardlaw : [catch] Wardlaw goes for the sweep but the shot is not timed well and the top edge balloons up towards short fine leg.
W. Wardlaw c W. Vaughton b. R. Dekker 12 (10b 0x4 1x6) SR:120.00

meh, Tonge is smashing it and i have batting to 9 so not worried.

Cyrus you beating me the other week may cost my chances at promotion >:(

playing top tonight and should outrate him by about 1k we are both playing on our favoured green wicket though ive got the slightly upper with 1 extra medium and him playing a spinner, feeling confident! Especially with my batsman being in good form!

Playing Baz on a green pitch. He batted first and finished at...

End of over 20 (7 runs) - Ballpit Chaos(107-6) RR 5.35
P. Gallen 4 (7b) , S. Vettel 22 (20b) , R. Maloney 4-1-13-1

Mlambo the best bowler taking 3 for 14 from 4.

What is amazing was my fielding in this game. 7 great fielding, 4 catches, 1 misfield and 0 missed wicket opportunities!!

PowerBug

nice fielding, you should chase that down right?? Then i remember Jay...

DazBurg

playing a guy who's ratings have been going down steadily cuz it seems he doesn't rest his players got a few on shattered and such which means his last two games his only rated 99k so went with salim to open with ritula

End of over 20 (13 runs) - DazBurg's Greatness(231-2) RR 11.55
A. Salim 115 (67b) , L. Black 40 (21b) , W. Gooden 4-0-42-1

look like i might have a big net RR boost here  ;)

DazBurg

9.6   .   Rahmann to Gooden : No run. Gooden lets that one go through to the keeper.

9.5   .   Rahmann to Gooden : Good length delivery which Gooden decides to leave.

9.4   W   Rahmann to Ashraf : [catch] Short ball, and hooked straight down the throat of the man in the deep! Out!
S. Ashraf c S. Abbas b. D. Rahmann 25 (37b 1x4 0x6) SR:67.57

9.3   W   Rahmann to Rikaz : [catch] Short of a good length delivery on the stumps, Rikaz makes room and takes a swing. The ball clips the top edge and balloons up to mid-on.
C. Rikaz c S. Abbas b. D. Rahmann 0 (2b 0x4 0x6) SR:0.00

9.2   .   Rahmann to Rikaz : [great fielding] A good diving stop by Dyer at square leg prevents any runs and keeps the pressure on Rikaz.

9.1   W   Rahmann to O'Meara : [catch] Goes for the big lofted drive, but doesn't time it at all and rather tamely picks out Saitoti on the edge of the circle.
S. O'Meara c D. Saitoti b. D. Rahmann 12 (9b 1x4 0x6) SR:133.33

gotta love that over from Rahmann  ;D

Yeah I am very worried about Jay, he always destroys me and a green with cloudy weather is perfect conditions for him, although managed to survive his first 3 overs :)
