is that important?
Not important. Was just stating that it is odd to see such an experienced manager bidding so highly on what is quite frankly an average player

not worth that is he?
I wouldn't have thought so, but someone is stupid enough to bid that high...

I'd say he's worth that. His power isn't poor/dread like a lot of batters, thanks to capable fielding = not much fielding required as other batters. Solid talent, okay exp. Decent 3.8k SR. Has been training on batting and technique pretty much all season except a fielding pop so should be close-ish to pops in tech and batting (last tech pop was back in december) - I posted him on the forums so they know this.

Therefore I'd say market value.

Now that's just plan silly  :o

I was about to say "what's silly about that?" then realised it was 8mil... lol

800K could be considered a "reasonable" price. I know Boomz was going to start bidding for this guy at 500K and he knew that. Maybe he accidentally added an extra 0.

What are the pros and cons?

Cicjose

the only pro i could see being really helpful is being able to pick and choose players

from the Trade market with relevant talents

(more correctly that is what i would use it for)

that and bookmarking players so you dont have to bid to keep an eye on them
and the bidding agent comes in handy for players im chasing that finish in the middle of the night

Made 3/353 on an unevern deck and bowled them out for 109 in 27.5 overs.

Played my second AR instead of my best one for exp and probably couldve gotten away with playing a youth or two.

love it! 12K ratings difference and still won
Giant Killing is what i do.... ;)

that has pulled me up out of the relegation zone which is what i been fighting to do since early losses due to my PC run earlier in the season

Fletch74

Well done Daz, that's legendary stuff ;)

The opposite happened to me last night.

I played Seinfeld, my 18yo, as I'm safe from relegation and GS is struggling from fatigue...

Result:   Frankston XI won by 4 wickets :-\

Fletch's Fossils    Frankston XI

Fielding/Keeping:    10,860    10,053
Overall:    169,697    158,984

The Overcast/Green conditions also suited my bowlers, but his spinners took 3 wickets between them, and my exceptional summary spinner couldn't get a wicket... I could rave on about the ME, and it's flowered up state, but that would make me a hypocrite, especially considering my bowlers were far superior!!

There you go Zz, that is why I don't like to bat first on a bowlers wicket, especially as my bowlers had to do a lot of batting last night...

Very happy breaking 170k while playing a back up bowler for the experience
