Played zz on an uneven pitch today. Batted first and got bowled out for 207 in 46.5 overs. In reply zz chased that down in (funnily enough) 46.5 overs, losing 9 wickets, to win by 1 wicket. Thought I was in with a good shot of winning when zz was sitting at this 8 for 158 from 31 overs, needing 50 runs from the last 9 with a new batsmen just at the crease. But zz's keeper, Connor, played a very smart innings keeping the majority of the striker to lead them to victory, finishing not out on 74 from 93 balls. From those last 35 balls Connor faced 27 of them!

Very important match for me.

6th vs. 8th. Both teams without a win. I rested Shah - my 19yo gun, as unfortunately I needed to stack my team for my best chance of victory.

Should be a very close game.

I wish shaggy would have told me he was going to play a bunch of youth players in our match tonight. Then I would have been able to rest a few guys who needed it and got some experience in to Wilkinson and some other youths :(


EDIT: Won by 10 wickets. Bowled them out for 91 then chased that down in 10.3 overs.
