Ok, so last night my Milwaukee Beers played Q's team and cos of PC my team was struggling with fatigue, so I rested a few guys for my SOD match this week. I didn't even bother to set proper orders cos I expected my team to be so shower that they would get done in 5 overs.

Milwaukee Beers    SE Melbourne Thunder Dogs
Batting - Top Order:    8,753    10,164
Batting - Middle Order:    5,550    7,566
Batting - Tail:    3,925    2,916
Bowling - Seam:    7,412 (8)    9,290 (16)
Bowling - Spin:    7,470 (12)    8,201 (4)
Fielding/Keeping:    8,213    9,387
Overall:    130,859    153,189

Result:   Milwaukee Beers won by 1 run

LOL! :P
YES!!!!

LOL!! Go ML!!

Cic, you said you rested your top batter and bowler, yet you rated only 117k. Did you rest others/still have bad fatigue on others OR are those players worth about 40k to your team??

Just compiling a list here of the records broken today by my youth side: (Yes it's an affiliate and yes no-one cares but i'm gonna do it anyway)

Individual:
Paul Arnostam reached 150 for the first time
Paul Arnostam hits his highest ever score (198*)
Keegan Bray reached 150 for the first time
Keegan Bray hit his highest ever score (173*)
Paul Arnostam hits the highest ever YOD score by anyone in my team
Both Arnostam and Bray reach 1000 YOD runs

Team:
Highest ever first wicket partnership (375* previous best: 228)
Highest ever partnership (375* previous best: 247)
3rd highest YOD score (375/0)
Went through a full 40 overs without losing a wicket.

Arnostam was soooooo unlucky not to get his 200, only faced 2 balls in the final over which he hit for 4 and 1. Bray then decides to hit 11 off the remaining 4 balls whilst keeping the strike.

End of over 40 (16 runs) - PowerBugCC(375-0) RR 9.38
P. Aronstam 198 (130b) , K. Bray 173 (112b) , L. Herman 8-0-83-0

Was the end result.

Not bad for a YP of mine :D

Cic, you need to train fielding on your seniors mate!

Nice going PB :)
Cheers CF. I'm delighted with him. My goal by 20 is cap/cap bat/tech, along with cap fielding and reas endo. Exp at either average or reasonable as well.

Should slot into my seniors nicely if he get's to that. One of my openers will be 30 by then.

End of over 40 (11 runs) - The Matchbox Matadors(300-5) RR 7.50
A. Snijman 9 (7b) , I. Gul 34 (23b) , M. Dhoni 8-0-62-2

Happy with that total on a green pitch, was expecting an easy win before it started to be honest and this just about guarantees it. Sloane fell first for 31, then Wilkinson and Farrell put on a 160 run partnership for the next wicket before Wilkinson fell for 92 off just 68 balls (:() and then Farrell was out 2 balls later for 87.  Rested Beattie tonight to give my 16 year old bowler a go, should still win comfortably though...

Cookie311993

     End of over 39 (9 runs) - bundy bashers(226-5). 18 runs required from 1 overs. RR 5.79 RRR 18.00
A. Drysdale 13 (15b), E. Seguso 17 (12b) , B. Jayakody 8-0-51-2

Needing 18 runs off the final over I thought I was destined for a loss. Wasn't helped by:

39.1   W   Vishwakula to Seguso : [catch] Priyadharshani and Vishwakula are vigorously appealing for a bat pad catch. The finger goes up, and Seguso is walking.
E. Seguso c S. Priyadharshani b. S. Vishwakula 17 (13b 1x4 0x6) SR:130.77

That hurt my chances I thought. 18 runs off 5 balls with a new man at the crease

39.2   3   Vishwakula to Teakles : Too short and Teakles is in position quickly to late cut it away past backward point.

First ball he rotates the strike and it's up to Alan Drysdale for the win

39.3   2   Vishwakula to Drysdale : Drysdale gets in position early for the slog sweep, but cannot get hold of it properly. Ajireen rushes around to tidy up.

Saw this and was thinking game over

39.4   4   Vishwakula to Drysdale : Four runs to the vacant fine leg boundary.
39.5   6   Vishwakula to Drysdale : Drysdale charges down the track like an invading marauder and lifts a short delivery over long-on for six!
39.6   4   Vishwakula to Drysdale : Lovely off drive from Drysdale, no need to run for that one. 4 runs.
     End of over 40 (19 runs) - bundy bashers(245-6) RR 6.12
A. Drysdale 29 (19b), J. Teakles 3 (1b) , S. Vishwakula 8-0-46-2
S. Vishwakula is tired.

bundy bashers won by 4 wickets

You little ripper

I feel sorry for your opponents monitor if he were watching that one cookie!

CrowsFan

Nice win cookie! What were the ratings in the game?

@PB - if he is going to be cap/cap at 20 there would be no point keeping him to be honest. Would need to be at least rel/rel to be worth it ;)
