Anybody have any ideas how to rest an AR? Don't have a backup one and my best youth bowlers are 17/18... Might just have to play the youths...
I don't, mainly coz my LF AR has Sturdy Talent, which gets him up for every game. And even if he does need a rest, my back-up player is a reli/accom RFS which also has Cap batting. :)

Maybe give him one week's training rest Q.

or you could buy mine Jamie Williams   ;)
I was thinking of putting the 30 yr old on the market toward EOS anyway but after yesterday losing my SOD against my toughest league opponent, I am unlikely to promote. Time for a cleanout.
I have been concentrating on getting his batting to expert this season to make him more market attractive, he can't be far off. I will say at start of season he plopped in endo from exp to accom  >:(

RB - you wanted him once, he's all yours now if you like  ;)
Where should I start him?  If I start at zero, what do people think I'll get?

He's not bad. Fielding needs a little work and so does bowling. So if you get him I would train fielding up at least one level possible two, then go bowling training.

Have you looked at his fatigue though? If you got him it would be some time before you would be able to play him if you want him rested

he's not bad. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a late rush on him though, this market I'd probably go 100-120

Ballpit Chaos won by 3 wickets.

After having baz struggling at 6 for 63, needing 83 runs to win, he went on to put together an 76 run partnership for the 7th wicket before Lasantha (number 8 batter) fell for 43. Leaving them to need just 7 more runs, which they managed to get without another loss of wicket.

Man of the Match
3. Jay Cartwright - MOTM against me for the second match in successive days. This time took 4 for 23 from his 10 overs.
2. Wilhelm Orange - second highest scorer for me with 22 runs. Also took 3 for 42 with the ball.
1. Sujay Lal - lead baz home with 45 not out from 87 balls.

Match Ratings
The Matchbox Matadors    Ballpit Chaos
Batting - Top Order:    10,495    8,501
Batting - Middle Order:    7,642    7,269
Batting - Tail:    3,094    4,159
Bowling - Seam:    9,096 (40)    8,444 (38)
Bowling - Spin:    8,786 (10)    9,347 (12)
Fielding/Keeping:    11,058    10,439
Overall:    160,181    150,178

Seriously that's just ridiculous. I out rate him in every section bar tail batting and spin bowling, but it was a green/humid pitch so spin shouldn't matter, yet I lose the game. It's all to do with that freak Cartwright! I do not like him!! >:(

A champion team will still beat a team of champions. Also when it comes to bowlers and pitches you're still better bowling a spec/spec spinner than an outs/outs spinner (provided there's a gap between them) as there's enough distance between prims to make up for pitch penalties, so really his spinners were just as good as his seamers here :g

But you already knew that, but oh well :D
Spec spinner better than outs spinner. Tell me more :P
