with dyer i stop training primaries to build his fielding his on reliable and been 2 weeks on fielding training since he popped to that

and his gifted fielding so hopefully 3 more weeks at most....(key word hopefully)

There is something about the first form update of the season after it has been reset that I always just hate. Every single season most of my players then drop to average form! In seniors I had 3 go up to capable, 3 down to average and 6 stay at reasonable, but in youths I only had 2 to capable, 6 stay at reasonable and 5 drop to average >:(

also my keeper had 1 hit for 21 and has  6 catches and a stumping in 2 games and dropped as well
then why use it? what is it based on?

A player's form affects his performances on the field. The form of each player will fluctuate during the course of a season.
As a manager, you have no direct control over form, as form fluctuations occur randomly each week within your squad.
Each week, the form of each player will gravitate towards reasonable. Players that play in one or more matches during a week have a slightly higher chance of increasing in form. The form of all players is reset to reasonable at the end of each season (specifically, it is reset after the World Cup final is played).

so its random there for form is a useless component of the game IMO

It always sucks at the start of each season.

I had 5 players drop to avg form, and only 1 increase to capable... It always gets better after the first couple of weeks though.

It is random, but that doesn't make it useless.

Someone who is in better form should play better thatn someone who isn't, but just because they are playing better doesn't mean their form will remain high.
