2.4   .   Hemming to Dysart : [dropped] Dysart drives upishly into the covers. Alleyne dives forward, but spills the ball when his elbows hit the deck. A nice change of pace from Hemming, but Dysart survives.

O comon!

Master Q

Alleyneeeeeeeeeee

3.4   W   Alleyne to Jongerius : Alleyne musters up all the effort he can and fires in a toe crusher. Jongerius obliges by getting himself in line with the stumps and the umpire raises his finger.
H. Jongerius lbw b. W. Alleyne 5 (7b 0x4 0x6) SR:71.43

Off he goes!

If that is the pitch that advantages you the most and disadvantages him the most then definitely.

roo boys!

Solid advice BB....lol

It's a tough one Cic, because your top order batting is a lot stronger than his but look at those middle order ratings by him! There is a fair chance those batsman could dominate a game for him on a hard pitch. He's got one gun spinner, so obviously his strength, similar to you with Bee and Christian so a hard wicket could give his spinner a hard time (pun intended ;))

If you have confidence in your two spinners to outclass his one then you could always go for a crumbling pitch, but there's always a risk he could tear you apart there.

As for my result last night:
    End of over 39 (14 runs) - Roo Boys!(161-2) RR 4.13

Thanks ML  :) TBH the pitch easily favoured me. Your strength is your Batting so I'd suggest going with pitches what will give you the edge. Hard is probably my best pitch as I have more of an All-Round team  :-\

Maybe I should look at using a different pitch than uneven. Lost to PB when I out rated him on Thursday, then got smashed last night when there wasn't a huge gap in ratings...

What pitch would someone suggest I use when I have 2 FM's, 2 M's and 1 FS? I guess I could try slow?
