Wasn't all that keen on him, but I can't always buy pure NATs, so I thought I'd give him a go, shame about his talent... but I feel a decent player for the price I paid.

I think it's a decent price. For an Acc/Acc batter with alright secondaries, he's a solid investment :).

You paid about the right price considering he has no relevant talent now that he will be 20 in a few days.

My question is this Nails ... what level is your SA? If it's any lower that excellent then I would suggest that this type of purchase is a complete waste of $$$ for you, unless you intend on significantly improving your SA very soon  ;)

It's satisfactory, nearly good. It's improving++ every week of every year. I'll take it to lux or better.
