Since I didn't have a friendly lined up for today I decided I would challenge my affiliate team to a match. Made it a youth friendly with a flat pitch and sunny weather. Want to see if I can beat my highest ever youth score of 4 for 383. Hopefully can break the 400 barrier...

Also giving Wilkinson the openers spot to see if he can break the record for highest individual score in a youth match for my team. Stroetinga currently holds the top 3 spots with scores of 179, 175 and 173! They were the only 3 times he went past 100 too :o

Wow what a win Fletch.

I have generally found T20 to be quite unpredictable with results and teams with lower ratings causing upsets. It is a lot easier to 'hide' lower skilled players in T20 compared to SOD. With batsman friendly pitches you usually only need 4 or 5 batsman, and bowlers aren't exposed as much as they bowl less overs.

Basically there is a lot more luck involved with T20, which is exactly what it is like in RL.
AWESOME Upset Fletch :D. I tend to see upsets happen more often in T20 which does make it more exciting for me :D. Especially in a league where I was outrated almost every match :P.

Yeiw! Got myself raped last night against valk in order for him to promote! Good deed done :)
Thank you sir - and yes you did get raped.
Is it still rape when you enjoy it ???
Lets go with yes  ;D

Funny you guys get away with that word when I got warnings for it. -_-
Well Mods don't generally read the FTP board. I haven't been reading alot of stuff these days but I saw this. Take this post as an OFFICIAL Warning for joking about rape (Valk and ZZ). Reporting such posts does help make the Mods job a whole lot easier by the way Shags :P.

Won by 11 runs  :) Clutch bowling from Lowery taking 4/42 on a flat  :) England was solid taking 4/47 and scoring 56 off 35 at No.9  :o I love having a bowling lineup who can hold the bat  :)

34.6   W   Audain to Wilkinson : Quicker delivery that pitches and turns sharply. Wilkinson pushes forward to defend but fails to make contact and the ball hits the pad right in front of the stumps. He was beaten by the extra pace and the sharp turn there.

Gargh! So close to breaking the record!  :'( :'(

Sadly I couldn't beat either of my records, falling just short of both :(

Wilkinson was caught LBW on 170 from just 108 balls, and the team finished at 3 for 379, just 4 runs short of my previous best :'(
Evans also got a century, finishing 111 not out from 69 balls.
