Fletch74

Hey, I've got players all my players on AGro, and I'm playing 9 Youths :)

roo boys!

I set all my bowlers (who are batting in the top 6) to defensive so hopefully they hang around for ages but don't score or get out so my batsmen (who will be tired from bowling) don't have to do all the batting as well.

Are these guys worth $100k?

Need a new keeper...
I don't like the first one much despite good skills.
If you want a short term fix then I'd go the 2nd guy.

Fletch74

The first one is a tad overpriced, although I've got the training history off Dave and he should pop in a few things shortly including experieince, but he's not that good.

I think I need to go the short term fix, but he'll go for more than 100k...

Maca24

Well if the first one is close to an experience pop, then I would say he looks a bit better.
2nd guy is better for short term though :)

Fletch74

We'll see, if I go the first guy, I'll have to play my T20 without a keeper and use Jirongo (exp/exp medium with avg keeping) to keep :-\

Whilst not that great, the first one will be good for me long term, but my ratings will drop and I will have to fight to stay up in both SOD and T20...

Oh well, the dillemma's of FTP, they take over life... lol

Surely you aren't serious about the 2nd guy. He is 29 and he only has ordinary fielding  :o  he will let through a million byes   :P   The first guy's skills are actually very good for his age with the only negative being his ordinary experience. He has played 30 senior matches so he shouldn't be too far away from average experience. He may be a tad overpriced but he is easily the better option IMO, and he should train up to be a decent keeper.

Fletch74

You're probably right Baz.

The only reason that the second guy was in the equation was that I have no keeper ATM, thus I might as well get a filler just for the season...

Anyway, I've discussed matters with Dave and the first guy will be where I'll head, but I won't have one for my T20 game although I should still win...

Dorenagama has just bowled out: 10-4-15-3 :D Another solid performance by him.

I have them on the ropes at 6/91 off 33, Oldfield doing his bit from the other end. I'm bowling him 10 straight from the one end. When does the OBB talent kick in?? And how effective is it??
