Not happy that i didn't bowl Gakere Odhiambo. Normally bowl him as pitches normally suit, but seem to have given Casey and Herbert an extra spell today, one too many for Herbert as he was batting. Disappointed there :(

End of over 40 (4 runs) - The Matchbox Matadors(264-8) RR 6.60
D. Jafferjee 16 (10b) , R. Hughes 5 (11b) , S. McMillan 8-0-29-1

Pretty annoyed with that score on a hard deck. Only 2 batters scored above 20 and they were Sargeant with 121 and Farrell with 61. The rest played like rubbish >:(

And that bid on CF's spinner was enough :) All mine for 19k.

Enjoy him :)
I got rid of him cos I don't even have any 19 year old bowlers so he wouldn't even be playing him next season. So thought I should just get rid of him :)

In my game:
End of over 20 (8 runs) - MECC(132-3). 133 runs required from 20 overs. RR 6.60 RRR 6.65
A. Miller 62 (59b) , C. Kennedy 4 (6b) , D. Jafferjee 6-0-35-0

Need a couple more wickets to feel comfortable. Getting Miller out soon would be great!

Ended up with a comfortable 39 run win, restricting them to 9 for 225 from their 40.

Man of the Match
3. Colwin Sargeant - 121 runs from 104 balls. Batted for 37 and a half overs, also took 2 catches
2. Aulay Miller - his guy, scored 81 runs opening the batting.
1. Ronald Hughes - 3 for 29 from 8 overs. Great effort for a spinner on a hard deck

My MR were down also CF due to form, but also fatigue from having 8 youths in my first round of the PC, so I'm still pretty pleased. Will be 8 or 9 of them this week playing as well.

No thanks Cyrus. I want good players for seniors (From mow on) :P CF's spinner was too good to refuse, LWS don't come around too often.

I think he is Nails in disguise... :D

BTW, where is Nails?

BratPack

Surprisingly easy 5 wicket win for me last night. Chased down 151 with more than 12 overs to spare. Bowlers led once again by Sicco Harms: The Dutch Treat who took 3/19, he might just miss the WC at EOS but damnit he's trying  :P

7.1   W   Brohaska to Reardon : [runout] Reardon pushes that one to mid on and sets off immediately. But Simon doesn't want the run! Confusion in the middle as both batsmen are left stranded at one end. Brohaska collects the throw from Recard and simply rolls it down the pitch for Harris to whip off the bails!
J. Reardon run out (J. Recard) 8 (18b 0x4 0x6) SR:44.44

I never choose to bat first... but when I do...

End of over 8 (3 runs) - The Nailers(23-3) RR 2.88
R. Simon 0 (0b) , S. Rayne 3 (5b) , H. Brohaska 4-2-6-1

::) ::) ::)

Me vs CF. Pretty even start, but I have Merchant bowling so i'll get killed.

Overpaid, but it was neccessary :)

End of over 21 (2 runs) - The Matchbox Matadors(88-4) RR 4.19
W. Deane 5 (13b) , G. Brayshaw 24 (23b) , D. Oldfield 1-0-2-0
Looking solid currently.
