Well hell almost be replacing my other AR next season, which he isnt to far behind, but has 4 years in difference and the talent would be a bonus

It really is based on need. If he slots straight into your First XI, then by all means go after him, but im just thinking that surely there has got to be better options out there

Im glad to get a bit more of a cash flow in this season. My senior squad is starting to age a bit so I need to start investing in my youth academy again.

Gonna take 2-3 seasons to get it back up to a decent investment level  by which time the core of my senior squad will be 28-29

On the lookout for a young keeper that I can develop as a backup

True. I've been on FTP for 4 months. This thread was on ~2000. Now on 2906. 15 posts per page. Do the maths, that's alot of posts. Not to mention the other thread too :)

I like him alot, would probably go for 250-300k but has so much potential. Plus on spinning decks you can promote him up the order to number 4 or 5 to soak up some deliveries to preserve a finisher batsmen if you have one for the last 10.  Hes only a Medium But Fast bowlers are a bit overrated (Fast Mediums are good)

Not off to a great start in what will very likely be my last full strength friendly for a couple seasons. Lost a wicket early, thankfully it was only Stephensen but given the conditions, it could very well be more to come.

So ended up being a pretty easy victory over fletch. Bowled him out for 145 in 40.5 overs to win by 73 runs :)

2. Ronald Hughes - 2 for 6 from 5 overs, plus 23 not out from 18 balls for me.

BB why do you still have 18 players with only 1 for sale??? You should sell the others to make the most of EOS money

Yikes just checked out my SOD league. I really need to promote back up this season. However eagledave has landed in my league and we both have very similar ratings. I think i just edge him as he hit 209k while I hit 216k  ???.

Other then that I hope I have my league covered  ;D

If I wasn't going to rebuild while I had some value in my players, I too would have had a bit of competition but it should have seen it off and promoted anyway. But I'd rather take the 1.5 - 2mill I should get for my players and stow it away, getting some younger guys in and make money from my leagues and takings to aide my future plans. :D
